Terms & Conditions

1. Safety & Responsibility

We take all reasonable steps to ensure a safe training environment. However, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a contact sport, and participation carries a risk of injury. By enrolling, parents/guardians accept this risk and agree that the club and its coaches cannot be held liable for any injury or loss sustained during classes, except where required by law.

2. Behaviour & Conduct

All students are expected to behave respectfully towards coaches and other children. Bullying, disruptive behaviour, or failure to follow instructions may result in removal from the class. No refund will be given in such cases.

3. Health & Medical Information

Parents/guardians must inform us of any medical conditions, injuries, or additional needs that may affect participation. Updates should be provided as needed. Children should not attend if they have been unwell within the previous 48 hours.

4. Drop-Off & Pick-Up

Children should be dropped off at the entrance and encouraged to enter independently where appropriate. Parents/guardians are not permitted to stay during classes, except for the first session (around 5 minutes). Children must be collected promptly at the end of class. Only authorised individuals may collect a child.

5. Photography & Privacy

Consent for photography is managed during registration. Only staff are permitted to take photos/videos during classes. Parents may take photos during designated events such as grading ceremonies.

6. Uniform

All students are required to wear the correct club uniform during training sessions.

7. Booking, Class Allocation & Attendance

All classes must be pre-booked. Each child is registered to a specific designated class. If a session is missed, make-up classes are not guaranteed and must be arranged in advance with the head

coach, subject to availability. Parents/guardians must not attend alternative classes without prior approval, as classes may be at full capacity.

8. Refunds & Cancellations

No refunds will be issued for missed sessions. A minimum of 30 days’ notice is required for cancellations or pauses in membership.

9. Safeguarding

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children. All staff are trained in safeguarding procedures. Any concerns should be reported to a member of staff immediately.

10. Special Events & Viewings

Parents/guardians are welcome to attend designated events such as grading ceremonies or showcases. Details will be communicated in advance.

11. Personal Belongings

We are not responsible for lost or damaged personal items brought to class.

12. Hygiene & Safety Rules

Nails must be kept short. No jewellery to be worn during training. A clean uniform must be worn for
